Unhappy at Work in Midlife: What Next?
- 30m Duration
Feeling stuck, burnt out, or unfulfilled in your career? You’re not alone — midlife is one of the most common times to question the work you do and whether it still fits who you’ve become. This course is designed to answer the questions so many people ask in their 40s, 50s, and beyond:
- Am I too old to change?
- What else could I do with my skills?
- I hate my job — what now?
- What if I fail — or regret leaving?
- How do I balance security with meaning?
- Why do I still feel like an imposter, even after years of experience?
In this course, I’ll help you understand why work feels different at this stage of life, how to decide whether to stay or shift, and how to reshape your role if you remain.
I’ve created special modules that focus on the unique challenges faced by women (burnout, invisibility, menopause in the workplace) and men (work as identity, toxic stereotypes, rebalancing priorities).
By the end of the course, you’ll have:
- A clearer understanding of why you feel the way you do about work.
- Strategies to recognise and overcome imposter syndrome.
- A personalised plan to either stay, shift, or redesign your working life.
Renewed confidence that it’s not “too late” to create a career that feels purposeful and balanced.
